I was botched by Dr Shelby Brantley during tummy tuck and breast augmentation
This man is practice medicine . This man had the guts to tell me my breasts are symmetrical and look great . I do believe in karma and karma will get him soon or later .
Dr shelby Brantley was the
plastic surgeon that botched me and to this day he says he did nothing wrong and refuses to apologize or give me any compensation for the psychological and physical damages .
It costed me a fortune . But I traveled to another State and had a great doctor to perform a revision surgery . Dr Brantley’s procedure was performed careless and irresponsibly. He behaved as an amateur who didn’t care for the patients at all. He did harm me indo many ways .
Dr Shelby Brantley MD discussed the procedures with me and didn’t do what we both agreed on . He now has the audacity to suggest me to gain weight and to go somewhere else and pay for revision surgery
Seriously ?

And yep he LIED to his patient !
Recap: I had breast implants above the muscle . I had rippling . I paid Dr Shelby Brantley to place NEW implants UNDER the muscle to help camouflage the rippling . After the surgery performed by add Shelby Brantley , I still had rippling so I suspected he didn’t place the implants under the muscle as I requested . Although he told me he did . So I got a mammogram done today and sure enough I was right ! And he was wrong AGAIN! He lied to me ! Dr Shelby Brantley , plastic surgeon at Face and Body center lied to his patient ! I have my mammogram report stating my silicone implants are ABOVE the muscle !
I sent a complain to the medical board in Mississippi today. I believe it’s malpractice lying to the patient , right ?
Dr Shelby Brantley was very confused regarding on where he placed my breast implants – if it was under or above the muscle. He changed his story 3 times in less than two months !
I highly suspect it’s above the muscle due to bad rippling I still have … I always thought he forgot what he supposed to do and just did the easiest way ( above the muscle ); no lipo during my tummy tuck ( but he says he did )!
So the most chocking part is that he said and I have it on tape – he said my old implants were under the muscle and he placed the new ones under the muscle too . I mean, why would he say such a thing about my old implants ? I didn’t call him a lier but I said I had mammogram done and it showed implants ABOVE the muscle ! So , why would he lie about that ? Would he just think I am that stupid and just believe everything is looking like it should … everything is good and just accept it ??? No way Jose! No way Dr Shelby Brantley . It’s my body and you charged a lot money to leave my body deformed . I waited too long for this cosmetic procedure … and you just botch me and not even try to fix it ? Tell me to gain weight ??? Tell me to try laser ???!!! Tell me I don’t have enough skin to pull?? Why did you take my money then ? Why didn’t you just say my case is too complicated for you ???
Dr Shelby Brantley . Are you proud of the results ?? Seriously ? I would be embarrassed to call myself a board certified plastic surgeon. Seriously. Look again and stop blaming the patient !
Can’t wait for my mammogram . My implants better be under the muscle because botching and lying to a patient is immoral and unethical.
When you think about it they are selling stuff just like anybody else but the product they sell is ridiculously expensive and if they don’t deliver what they are selling the buyer loses it and the surgeons ( sellers) get away with it!
I don’t think it’s wrong not to guarantee great results . It’s wrong not to guarantee good results . Cosmetic work is done for obvious cosmetic reasons and if I pay for a tummy tuck go make my belly flat you better make my belly flat . Dr Shelby Brantley not only made a giant incision in my belly . He made my belly uglier and told
Me it is what it is . Like what ????? Are you sure you are a doctor ??? We all have different expectations. What is wrong is to deliver poor results , making your client ( aka patient) to look worse than before the procedure! And not disclose this to the patient .
What they do is to make you sign tons of paperwork that nobody reads it . But I guarantee nobody signs anything that states something like :” I might botch your body . And if I do. Too bad…! See ya loser “!

What did he do to my body ???? Is he really a doctor ? Sometimes I wonder .
Why he didn’t apologize? Why he didn’t do what we agreed on ? He should have removed my entire tattoo , should have left me with a flat belly and implants under the muscle to avoid rippling . My belly looks awfully disgusting and I have horrible rippling in my breasts . I want my money back !
I was diagnosed with breast cancer. The massive implants Dr Brantley placed in ,were hiding a malignant tumor. I don’t have family history, don’t smoke, don’t drink, never was overweight. Basically i don’t have any risk factors. only thing I know for sure is, those massive implants didn’t allow me an earlier diagnosis. maybe if the implants were placed under the muscled as I requested I could have found out sooner. But I only discovered I had cancer after the implants were removed. Already stage 2.
ladies, think twice when choosing large implants. Specially above the muscle. They can hide cancer.

Don’t you love how bad plastic surgeons think they are above the law ? That … if they deform your body they don’t have to take any responsibility for it … the only thing they take is your money !
That so called doctor destroyed my confidence . Looking at his smiling pictures on his website makes me sad . Doctors like him are immoral and only see dollar bills .
Dr Shelby Brantley haven’t offered to fix my damaged belly and breasts . He actually told me to gain weight , to look for a different doctor and that’s it ! Can you believe it ?! Took all my money , left me looking horrible …. and said bye bye . I hope many potential patients read this and decide not to do any procedures with him . He is unprofessional rude and just a bad doctor overall. Must have failed several classes in med school including ethics .
Currently and kindly waiting for his lawyer to contact me offering my money back so I can pay for a revision surgery and fix his bad work . Honestly it looks like he cut me and realized he was late for something and stopped the surgery , stitched me back and said he was done ! In a little over an hour ! Can you believe it ? In a little over an hour he supposedly placed implants under the muscle , performed a tummy tuck , did liposuction ( without any canula marks) ….
Well, everyone looks skinner after a tummy tuck. I looked bigger and I actually gained a few pounds after surgery. Look the pictures and take your own conclusions .
Please always have every promise recorded . Report these bad doctors to the medical board and publish your bad results. He took my money and left me with this disgusting look. Dr Shelby Brantley from the Face and body Center Flowood MS . Terrible mommy makeover.
For those who are following my story , I requested and paid for a mommy makeover including breast implants exchange from above the muscle to under the muscle to correct rippling .
After my surgery , during the first follow up visit , Dr Shelby Brantley told me my implants were under the muscle as requested ( so he “thought “ his exact words were “ I can’t remember “)!
About 5 or 6 weeks after surgery when bad rippling started showing again , he excused himself from the room to “read his notes” and came back saying he was wrong , my implants were ABOVE the muscle ! I almost cried and asked WHY?!!! His answer:” because that’s where your old implant were”! I was so angry and shocked by his response , all I could do was ask him what could be done to fix the bad rippling!!! the whole reason I wanted new implants was to fix the rippling ..
He proceeded to tell me I had a few “ solutions “that could be done : down size ( current implants are over 600ccs) so we could insert a more dense , cohesive implant and place under the muscle , do fat graft and inject on my breast tissue and gain weight .
I was like :” my god I still don’t understand why you didn’t do what we planned before surgery … “. I was so sad . Cried for days .
About 10 days ago when I went back there to show him my horrible tummy tuck results and also complain one more time about my breasts he told me and I have it on record “

And he also dared to say my old implants were under the muscle too ! I was like “ I am not
calling you a liar but my old implants were above the muscle and I have imaging studies to prove it “! He got irritated and kept saying he did the surgery as I requested .
So next week I have a mammogram – it will show where my implants are .
He told me 3 times he got “ confused “. I believe he got confused during surgery too thinking I was someone else . My tummy tuck is a disaster my breasts look worse than they ever did .
Yes I am going to fight ! Enough of bad plastic surgeons !
I think what made me so mad was the fact he didn’t even say he was sorry . I believe a man with balls and ethics would say :” I am sorry I messed up I will get it right and you will be happy “. But no , he was like :” well, it is what it is . You can try to fix it with some laser , or we could try to make an incision under your breasts ( like wtf). Or a 360 incision . Like …, are you serious ? Are you out of your mind ???!!! I am a 115lbs woman at my heaviest state. Did you really mention I would need a 360 incision ( this is done in people with excessive fat and skin laxity ) to get rid of saggy skin above my belly button ??? Are you out of your mind doc? You should be ashamed of yourself .
